ABSTRACT:
In a retrospective study on 207 infants who were under medical treatments for sepsis in Hefdah -Shahrivar Hospital,septicemia in 43 patients (20.77%) and meningitis in 21 patients (10.14%) were proved.E.coli is the most common cause of septicemia and meningitis. In Patients with gastroenteritis symptoms, Salmonella and Salmonella paratyphi should be considerd as the most common possible bacteria. There was only a positive culture of CSF by hemophilus influenza.
