On the basis of clinical status at the time of delivery in 1362, they were classified in three groups: 'Well (72 cases), with 'Severe weakness' (18 Cases); and Unconscious" (51cases). One patient from the 'Well group had the clinical and laboratory findings of sheehan disease, and one patient from the "Unconscious' group had primary hypothyroidism and hypophyseal adrenal insufficiency.
The serum cortisol level of 7 cases of the 'Well' group, 2 cases of the 'Severe Weakness group. 5 cases of the "Unconscious group was less than 10 micg/dl.
