Infection is the most common morbidity after c/s and there are multiple factors interferes. In this prospective study 245 patient who had obstetrical indications for c/s were selected. They were divided into two groups according to the time of irrigation at time of operationsite. 125 patients(51%) twice, 120 patients(49%)thrice. They were compared with each other based on risk factors which in ordered age, time of membrane ruptur, times of vaginal examination, c/s cause, kind of abdominal incision,kind of uterine incision, operation duration. There was not significant diffrence between 2 groups according to mentioned factors.
