ABSTRACT:
In the last years, meningitis etiologic agents have changed rapidly. In the industrialized countries the most common microorganisms responsible to bacterial meningitis were Group.B.Streptococci and E.coli ,but in the Developing Countries, Salmonella.is considered one of the most common pathogens. Between to 1982-1989, studies carried out in the neonatal ward of Bahrami Hospital confirmed this claim, i.e, out of 29 patients hospitalized in the neonatal ward in 15 infants, bacterium from Spinal fluid (SF) was cultured and it was found that.
