مقایسه هوش هیجانی و سلامت روان در معتادان به مواد مخدر و افراد عادی

چکیده
مقدمه: سوء مصرف مواد پدیدهای مزمن است که آسیبهای فراوان جسمی، روانی، اجتماعی، خانوادگی، اقتصادی را به دنبال دارد، بهطوری که شخص مبتلا را دچار افت جدی در کنشهای فردی و اجتماعی میکند.
هدف: مقایسه رابطه هوش هیجانی و سلامت روانی درمعتادان و افراد عادی.
مواد وروشها: نمونهها شامل80 فرد معتاد به مواد مخدر و 80 نفر افراد عادی بودند که به شیوه نمونهگیری در دسترس از مراکز درمان و بازتوانی دولتی و غیر دولتی شهر رشت انتخاب شدند سپس دو گروه از لحاظ متغیرهای سن، وضعیت تأهل، میزان تحصیلات، تعداد اعضا و میزان درآمد خانواده همتاسازی شدند. آنگاه آزمودنیها به پرسشنامهی هوش هیجانی پترایدز و فارنهام(2002) و فرم 28 مادهای پرسشنامهی سلامت عمومی گلدبرگ(1979) پاسخ دادند و دادهها با آزمونهای آماری بررسی شد.
نتایج: تحلیل داده نمونههای جور شده نشان داد که بین نمرههای هوش هیجانی و سلامت روان معتادان و افراد عادی تفاوت معنیداری وجود دارد بهطوری که معتادان به مواد مخدر از هوش هیجانی و سلامت روان پایینتری نسبت به گروه عادی برخوردار بودند. علاوه بر این ضریب همبستگی پیرسون میزان رابطه هوش هیجانی و سلامت روان را در نمونه معتادان و افراد عادی به ترتیب 445/0- و403/0- نشان داد.
نتیجهگیری: میزان هوش هیجانی در معتادان به مواد مخدر پایینتر از افراد عادی است و بین هوش هیجانی و سلامت روان معتادان و افراد عادی رابطه معنیدار وجود دارد(p<0.05).
Abstract
Introduction: Abuse of drug is a chronic phenomenon which brings about a plenty of physical, mental, social, family, and economic harm in a way that the addicted person’s individual and social functions are severely reduced.
Objective: Comparison of emotional intelligence and mental health in addicted and normal individuals.
Materials and Methods: Samples consisted of 80 addicted and 80 normal individuals. Sample group were selected by accessible sampling from governmental and non governmental rehabilitation and remedial centers from Rashat. Both groups matched according to age, marital status, number of family members, educational level and economic condition. Then participants answered to the Petridis and Furnhum’s (2002) emotional intelligence questionnaire and 28 Item Gold berg’s (1979) general health questionnaire (GHQ28). Data were analyzed through statistic analysis.
Result: Data analysis shows significant relation between emotional intelligence and mental health in two groups. The addicted person had low or levels of emotional intelligence and mental health than the normal individuals. Furthermore, person coefficient correlation showed relation between emotional intelligence and mental health of the addicted and normal individuals which were (0.403 and -0.445) respectively.
Conclusion: The addicted person had lower level of emotional intelligence and mental health than normal individuals. There was significant relation between emotional intelligence mental health in addicted and normal individuals (P<0.05).
