ABSTRACT
The goal of this study was to screen the diagnosed delusional disorder patients and to determine the type of delusions among them.
Data were collected by reviewing 546 history records of patients admitted in psychiatric wards for some period in 1371 -1372.The patients were diagnosed according to DSM -III-R and in some cases according to DSM-IV.
Apart from other symptoms and other specific diagnoses ,166 of them were delusional (having one or more nonbizarre delusions.)
In general ,delusion was the most common symptom in psychotic patients. Types of delusions in the patients, especially in those with delusional disorder,were determined and some comments were presented.
