Abstract:
The remarkable tendency to spend time online on social media is a global phenomenon that has a profound impact on society and culture. Online communities are new places for doing research that provide a rich source of data in real-time with textual interactions. Nursing research emphasizes the important role social media has played in discussing health and disease-related issues .Netnography is also a qualitative research method that is based on the principles of ethnographic observation and is used to understand the attitudes, perceptions, images and feelings of users in online communication. With the digital transformation in society, netnography as a research method provides great opportunities for nurse researchers to monitor new spaces and places that require online methodological knowledge.
