Background: The effective using of information technology is essential for the success of many organizations. As the necessity of using efficient information systems in the health and treatment sector to achieve goals, increase the quality of services and also the satisfaction of clients is an undeniable necessity.
Objective: Therefore, in the present study, the relationship between the level of acceptance of hospital information systems and individual, organizational and technological characteristics was determined.
Methods: This cross-sectional analytical study was conducted in 1402 in eight public hospitals in Rasht. 131 employees of HIS teaching hospital of Gilan University of Medical Sciences were used to participate in the research. Modeling of SEM structural equations was also used for path analysis, which have a confirmatory approach.
Results: It was shown that 82.4% of the people studied were women and 67.2% of all people had experience of more than 9 years. After confirming the appropriate fit of the model, it was determined that the effect of team competence, information quality, and perceived usefulness on the level of system acceptance was significant and confirmed. Also, team competence, adaptability and self-efficacy had an impact on the understanding of ease, and on the other hand, information quality, system quality, senior management support and understanding of usefulness.
Conclusion: Using the HIS software on the web, in addition to the features and advantages of the Windows application, without logging in and out of the software multiple times, it can register patient information with the least possible time, which will lead to maintaining the confidentiality of information and improving the ability to record data. became. With this method, the hospital's information technology experts will be able to record data OFFLINE for users when communication is interrupted.
